Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that respect their individuality.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, employing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness practices.
Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, enhancing treatment efficacy.
Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and developing safety plans for clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Engage in community outreach efforts, hosting workshops and seminars to educate the public on mental health issues and promote awareness of available services.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including families, children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The diversity of our client base enriches the therapeutic experience, providing opportunities to enhance cultural competence and adaptability in therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications
An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to build trusting therapeutic relationships with a variety of clients.
A commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity, demonstrating understanding while working with clients from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities for accurate and timely documentation of client progress.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in an outpatient or community mental health setting is preferred, with a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient client management and documentation.
A demonstrated track record of participation in community outreach initiatives and mental health education programs.
Compensation and Benefits
