This role operates within a fully remote setup, allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their homes while still maintaining essential connections with patients and colleagues. Our flexible work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for flexibility based on patient needs. Your work will be supported by cutting-edge telehealth technology, which enables effective communication and management of care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups, providing resources and community-building for patients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other clinical staff to create and implement coordinated care strategies that ensure comprehensive treatment for all patients.

Provide crisis intervention services to address urgent mental health situations, offering immediate support and guidance.

Educate patients on mental health issues, available treatment modalities, and local support resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation per legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Engage actively in case reviews, professional development workshops, and team meetings to continuously enhance service delivery.

Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in mental health treatment through ongoing education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists serve a broad spectrum of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults struggling with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Each therapist has the opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the lives of their patients through tailored care and ongoing support.

Qualifications

A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

A valid and active state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is necessary for this role.

Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment options.

Proven ability to execute thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans.

Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a strong passion for working with diverse populations.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction.

Capacity to maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, ideally in an outpatient setting.

Experience with electronic health record systems and proficiency in telehealth practices.

Background in leading support groups or educational seminars is highly desirable.
