Work Environment
This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to establish your own schedule and working environment. All therapy sessions are conducted via secure video chat, enabling you to connect with clients without the need for commuting. You will have complete control over your calendar and can work from any location that suits your needs, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual therapy sessions delivering evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tailored to the needs of adult clients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each session to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
Participate in regular team meetings and engage in peer consultation to share insights, strategies, and enhance overall service delivery.
Stay informed about developments in mental health practices and contribute to professional development activities offered by the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with adult clients confronting a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. By leveraging technology, you can reach clients who may have difficulties accessing traditional in-person therapy, thereby expanding your impact within the community.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy from a regionally accredited institution is required.
Active licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in your state.
A minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adult populations.
Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Exceptional writing skills necessary for comprehensive session documentation.
A pristine record, free of any disciplinary actions from any licensure board.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches are a plus.
