Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Counselor at Motion in Mind Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, challenges, and treatment needs.
Developing tailored treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and objectives.
Providing individual therapy sessions via telehealth, employing various therapeutic modalities suited to promote personal growth, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
Monitoring client progress through regularly scheduled sessions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Documenting all sessions and client interactions meticulously to maintain ethical standards and fulfill insurance requirements.
Participating in ongoing professional development workshops and training to enhance your skills and explore innovative approaches to therapy.

Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and walks of life who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress-related issues, and trauma recovery. Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
A current and valid state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R).
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Exceptional communication skills and a strong capacity for empathy and compassion toward clients.
A non-judgmental attitude and the ability to create a safe therapeutic space for clients to share their experiences.
Strong time-management and organizational skills to maintain your caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
While we welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds, having prior experience in teletherapy or online counseling is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your ability to document client interactions efficiently and adhere to compliance standards. Experience with specific therapeutic techniques tailored to trauma, anxiety, and depression will be especially beneficial in serving our client population.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience. Additional benefits include:
