Job description
LNA – Geropsyche (GPU)GPU is our 29-bed Geropsychiatric Unit specializing in the care of patients ages 65+ with co-occurring cognitive impairment and psychiatric illness.The LNA, under general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and direct supervision of the RN is an integral member of the care delivery team by performing direct and indirect patient care through clinical tasks within the scope of LNA practice and by providing personal care and emotional support.Activities of daily livingReport all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient's condition to RNProvide basic support to patients and familiesDocuments in selected areas of the medical record as appropriateHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredCurrent New Hampshire licensure as LNA requiredAbility to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employmentAggression de-escalation training approved by EHSMedical, Dental, Vision Benefits starting the 1st of the month following start dateAccrued Earned Time403b with matching (fully vested) and discretionary annual core contributionsTuition Reimbursement up to $4,000/year for full time coded employees over 30 hours/weekNursing Student Loan Paydown Program up to $20,000Sign on Bonus EligibleMiscellaneous Benefits – Pet Insurance, Legal Services, Vendor DiscountsWork Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm - Days - Every Other Weekend - 24hrs/wkSolutionHealth is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
