Job description

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Cridersville Health Care Center | Cridersville, Ohio

Lead a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility Into Its Next Chapter

Cridersville Health Care Center is entering an exciting new chapter under new ownership, and we are seeking an accomplished Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our community forward.

This is an opportunity to take the helm of an established 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility while joining a growing healthcare organization committed to operational excellence, exceptional resident care, and strong local leadership.

We believe great facilities are built by great leaders. We are looking for an Administrator who can inspire a team, strengthen culture, drive performance, and maintain the high standards our residents and families deserve.

Our leaders are guided by four core values: Integrity, Work Ethic, Compassion, and Competence. If you are a hands-on leader who believes in accountability, collaboration, and putting residents first, we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator , you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, operations, culture, and performance of Cridersville Health Care Center.

You will partner closely with nursing leadership, department heads, regional leadership, and corporate support teams while having the autonomy to lead your facility effectively.

This role is ideal for an experienced skilled nursing leader who understands that successful operations require more than maintaining compliance — they require developing people, building trust, driving census, managing financial performance, and creating an environment where employees want to work and residents are proud to call home.

What You'll Do

Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for all facility operations.

Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and facility leadership.

Foster a positive, accountable, and resident-centered workplace culture.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and an exceptional resident and family experience.

Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.

Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to support strong clinical outcomes and quality measures.

Oversee facility financial performance, budgeting, labor management, and operational efficiencies.

Drive census growth and collaborate with admissions, marketing, and business development teams.

Recruit, develop, engage, and retain high-performing team members.

Monitor key operational, clinical, financial, and staffing metrics and implement action plans when needed.

Maintain survey readiness and proactively address compliance and quality concerns.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, healthcare partners, and the surrounding community.

Promote effective communication and collaboration across all departments.

Lead with visibility and accountability while maintaining a strong presence throughout the facility.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Current and valid Ohio Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license .

Previous leadership experience as a Nursing Home Administrator within a skilled nursing facility.

Strong knowledge of federal and Ohio regulations governing skilled nursing and long-term care.

Demonstrated understanding of survey readiness, quality measures, resident rights, and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to effectively manage people, priorities, and facility operations in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Preferred:

Proven success improving or maintaining strong survey and quality outcomes.

Experience with census development, employee retention, labor management, and financial performance.

Experience leading through organizational growth, transition, or change.

Experience within memory care, assisted living, or other senior living settings is a plus.

Why Cridersville?

This isn’t an opportunity to simply maintain the status quo.

You’ll be joining a 5-Star facility with a strong foundation , now backed by new ownership and a growing organization focused on giving its leaders the support and resources they need to succeed.

We are looking for someone who wants to build, lead, and make an impact — someone who takes ownership of their building, develops their people, and understands that outstanding operational results begin with outstanding resident care.
