Job Responsibilities
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and devise personalized therapy strategies to assist them in meeting their functional objectives.
Implement Therapy Techniques: Incorporate evidence-based methods to help improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living capabilities.
Engage in Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapy methods and exercises to facilitate their ongoing progress at home.
Track and Adjust Care: Keep detailed records of patients' advancements and refine treatment plans as necessary, ensuring effective progress.
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
Commitment to ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
