Job Description
Craft Individualized Care Plans: Assess patient needs and develop tailored therapeutic strategies to help them reach their rehabilitation goals.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-informed methods to boost patients' physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
Engage with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide teaching on therapeutic methods to ensure progress and empowerment beyond therapy sessions.
Monitor and Record Progress: Keep track of patient outcomes and modify therapy plans to ensure objectives are met.
Education
Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Continuing education and additional certifications are not only supported but encouraged.
Certifications
Active OTR/L license
NBCOT certification mandatory
