Confidence to operate independently while also being an integral member of a close-knit, interdisciplinary team

Benefits

Engagement in quality improvement and innovative practices

In this role, you'll step beyond mere treatment — you're on a mission to restore routines, rebuild self-esteem, and reignite joy in everyday living. Whether working with stroke survivors through fine motor rehabilitation or assisting orthopedic patients in regaining mobility post-surgery, you'll pour your skills and experience into delivering compassionate, individualized care that promotes resilience and independence.

This isn't about ticking boxes or going through the motions. Instead, it's a nurturing environment where every patient represents a narrative, and each therapy session unfolds as a vital chapter in their recovery journey. Teaming up with fellow therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, you'll collaboratively develop rehabilitation strategies as unique as the people you serve.

We've cultivated something exceptional among our rehab team. We don't just meet for shifts — we uplift each other, share insights, and celebrate every achievement (big or small) as a unit. You'll find an atmosphere where your voice carries weight, your growth is nurtured, and your impact is visible every day.

And what about the locale? Embrace the dynamic energy of Kansas City, a place defined by its unexpected delights and spirited embrace of adventure. Bid farewell to monotonous cityscapes — here, verdant parks, remarkable street art, and the aromas of barbecue and local eateries invigorate your senses.

This vibrant community pulses with creativity: from diverse artistic scenes to lively music venues and innovative dining experiences. Farmers' markets and eclectic boutiques dot walkable neighborhoods, inviting creativity and connection at every turn. And amidst this urban vitality, the city fosters a welcoming atmosphere that allows spontaneous moments of connection, whether through delicious food or shared experiences.

Your Ideal Candidate

We seek someone who perceives occupational therapy not merely as a career, but as a profound calling. If you feel elated at the sight of a patient reclaiming their functions, navigating life with greater ease, or articulating thoughts they struggled to share, you've found your home.

Whether you are a seasoned OTR/L or a newly minted graduate, you'll flourish here by bringing not just skill, but compassion and commitment to the table. If the idea of merging outstanding care with a fulfilling lifestyle resonates with you — we would love to connect.

Join Us in Making a Difference

This is your opportunity to contribute to something that extends beyond a job title. Your efforts will shape lives, fuel healing journeys, and restore hope. And you'll do so in a region celebrated for its balance of vibrancy and tranquility.

If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey, giving back to a community that values you — we can't wait to welcome you.
