Your Role in Patient Care

In this role, you'll do much more than just address symptoms; you'll assist in rejuvenating daily routines, restoring self-confidence, and reigniting enthusiasm for independent living. Whether guiding stroke survivors through intricate manual dexterity exercises or assisting orthopedic patients in reclaiming mobility post-surgery, you'll leverage your expertise to provide individualized care that fosters resilience.

This is not a place for shortcuts or rote checklists. Instead, it's a nurturing environment where each patient's journey is recognized, and each therapy session contributes to their story of recovery. You'll collaborate closely with fellow therapists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to create rehabilitation plans uniquely tailored to each patient's journey.

Why You Will Appreciate the Team — and the City You Get to Call Home

We've cultivated a culture like no other. Our rehabilitation team thrives on mutual support — we encourage each other, share wisdom, and celebrate both the large and small victories together. You'll be part of a workplace where your input is valued and your professional growth is nurtured.

Plus, you'll be living in Norfolk, a destination that surprises with its unique blend of history and modern vibrancy. The area features stunning waterfront views overlooking the Elizabeth River, a rich tapestry of maritime culture, and a budding arts community that draws visitors and locals alike. Food lovers can indulge in a fusion of flavors, from fresh seafood to eclectic international cuisine, while the rich history invites exploration through museums and historic districts.

As you savor the delightful restaurants, local music scene, and charming neighborhoods, you'll also find ample opportunities for outdoor adventures, from relaxing at the beach to enjoying scenic walks and bike rides along the beautiful waterfront.

The Ideal Candidate

We seek a compassionate, skilled individual who views occupational therapy not merely as a profession, but as a calling. You should feel exhilarated when you witness a patient regain functionality, navigate challenges with less assistance, or articulate thoughts they were previously unable to express.

If you're an experienced OTR/L or a recently certified professional ready to bring heart, commitment, and enthusiasm to your work, you will find your place here. Combining excellent patient care with a vibrant lifestyle is the key to your success in this role.

Join Us in Building Something Significant

This is an invitation to be part of something that transcends a mere job title. Here, your contributions will shape lives, energize recoveries, and restore hope. You'll find fulfillment in a beautiful location that balances ambition with tranquility.

If you're ready to grow, make a difference, and immerse yourself in a caring community, we wholeheartedly welcome you to apply. Let's embark on this journey together!
