Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist eager to assist individuals in reclaiming their independence and enhancing their overall quality of life? If you're looking to make a profound difference while nurturing your career in an area famed for its rich history and lively culture — this opportunity is meant for you.
We are on the hunt for a full-time, licensed OTR/L to become a part of a dynamic, progressive therapy team that cherishes creativity, collaboration, and tangible results. No matter if you are a seasoned practitioner or a recent graduate, this position offers you an avenue to engage in meaningful work within a community that balances busyness with a spirited pace.
Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-informed methodologies to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver thorough and holistic care
Educate Patients and Families: Provide insights and training to patients and their families on therapeutic approaches to enhance progress at home
Track and Adjust Treatment Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify therapy as required to ensure they remain on the right path
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported
An active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification a must
A genuine passion for helping individuals and a natural inclination to assist others in achieving their utmost independence
Compassionate and clear communication skills with patients and coworkers alike
Expertise in adaptive thinking and the ability to modify plans according to a diverse range of needs
Confidence working both autonomously and harmoniously within a close-knit interdisciplinary environment
A collaborative, supportive atmosphere that fosters professional growth
A full-time schedule with flexible working hours
Clinical mentorship and development opportunities available
Top-notch tools, facilities, and documentation resources at your disposal
Involvement in quality enhancement and innovation projects
In this position, you'll do much more than just address symptoms — you'll assist in reinstating daily routines, rebuilding self-esteem, and reigniting joy in life's moments. From guiding stroke survivors with fine motor recovery to aiding orthopedic patients in restoring mobility post-surgery, you'll devote your extensive knowledge to delivering person-centered care that cultivates resilience and independence.
This isn't a place for shortcuts or mere checklists. It's a vibrant setting where each patient is unique, and every therapy session serves as a chapter in their remarkable journey. You will collaborate closely with fellow therapists, doctors, nurses, and social workers to develop rehabilitation strategies that reflect the individuality of each patient.
What we've cultivated here is something truly special. Our rehabilitation team doesn't merely clock in and out; we encourage one another, exchange insights, and collectively celebrate all achievements (big or small). You will discover an environment where your voice is valued, your growth is supported, and the imprint of your work is visible day in and day out.
And then comes the surroundings: Oklahoma City, a vibrant community rich in art, music, and culinary diversity. Swap concrete for charming neighborhoods, where exploring local art galleries or enjoying concerts blends with indulgent moments at food trucks serving everything from comfort food to trendy vegan options. The city buzzes with a creative spirit that attracts everyone from artists and musicians to innovators and entrepreneurs, all while maintaining a pace that allows for leisurely strolls and community engagement.
We're looking for an individual who regards occupational therapy as a calling rather than just a job title — someone who feels joy when a patient regains dexterity, walks confidently, or shares experiences they hadn't been able to convey before.
Whether you are a seasoned OTR/L or a newly certified talent, you'll flourish here if your work is guided by compassion, perseverance, and humility. If you envision merging top-tier care with a vibrant lifestyle — you'll find your niche with us.
This is your chance to join something more significant than just a job. Here, your efforts will shape futures, facilitate recoveries, and reclaim what was once lost. And you'll do it in a region known for harmonizing purpose and joy.
So, if you are poised to grow, engage, and embrace a community that cares — we are eager to connect with you.
