Job Responsibilities
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate individualized therapy plans designed to support their functional objectives.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to promote improvement in patients' mobility and daily living skills.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work in unison with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide thorough, patient-centered care.
Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapy methods that encourage progress and well-being at home.
Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patients' outcomes and refine treatment approaches to guarantee their continuous growth.
Education Requirements
A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and facilitated
Required Certifications
Current OTR/L license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
