If you are a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a deep-rooted passion for aiding individuals in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life, then you are being beckoned to make a meaningful difference. Here's an opportunity to build a fulfilling career in a city celebrated for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving arts scene.

We are on the lookout for a full-time, licensed OTR/L who will join an innovative and supportive therapy team that values connection and excellence. Whether you are a seasoned professional or stepping into your first role, this position allows you to make an impact while enjoying the unique rhythm of Philadelphia.

Job Responsibilities

Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their objectives.

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily activities.

Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

Educate Patients and Families: Provide training to patients and their caregivers on therapy approaches, enabling continued progress at home.

Assess Progress and Adapt Plans: Keep a close eye on clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to maintain patient progress.

Education Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Encouraged participation in continuing education or additional certifications.

Certifications Required

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.

Key Skills

A genuine passion for improving patient well-being and empowering individuals towards greater independence.

Excellent communication skills marked by clarity and empathy toward both patients and fellow staff members.

Creative problem-solving abilities to address the diverse needs of patients.

Confidence in working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Benefits

A supportive team-centric environment with ample opportunities for professional growth.

Competitive full-time schedule with flexible shift options.

Access to robust clinical mentorship and career development tools.

Utilization of state-of-the-art facilities and documentation systems.

Engagement in quality improvement initiatives focused on innovation.

Your Role and Impact

As an Occupational Therapist, you will not merely address symptoms; you will facilitate the restoration of routines, foster confidence, and revive joy in everyday activities. You will guide patients through the recovery processes, whether it's supporting stroke survivors with fine motor skills or helping patients regain mobility post-surgery. Your expertise will enable you to provide customized care that emphasizes healing, resilience, and independence.

This environment is built for those who understand that each patient presents a unique narrative. It is a place where therapy sessions contribute to the overarching story of each patient's recovery. Collaborating with a diverse group of healthcare professionals — including therapists, physicians, and social workers — you'll co-design rehabilitation programs tailored specifically to each individual's journey.

Why You Will Appreciate Our Team — and This Dynamic City

Here, we've cultivated something truly extraordinary. Our rehabilitation team is much more than a collection of coworkers; we uplift each other, share valuable insights, and celebrate every achievement together. You will discover a workplace where your opinions matter, your professional growth is prioritized, and your contributions create a visible impact each day.

And let's not overlook the charm of Philadelphia. This city is a treasure trove of historical landmarks, artistic expressions, and culinary delights. From the iconic Liberty Bell to vibrant murals that grace building walls, every corner tells a story. You'll find a community filled with food from gourmet restaurants to lively street carts, vintage shops bursting with character, and cultural events that beckon to be explored during your downtime.

Who You Are

We seek someone who views occupational therapy not solely as a career but as a deep commitment — someone who experiences joy at the moment a patient regains motor function, walks with newfound confidence, or articulates a thought they had long struggled to express.

If you're an engaged OTR/L, or just beginning your professional journey, your success hinges on your capacity to embody compassion, determination, and humility in your work. If the idea of marrying exceptional patient care with an enriched lifestyle excites you, then your new home awaits.

Join Us in Creating Meaningful Change

This is your invitation to become part of something larger than the traditional job title. Your work here will be a catalyst for growth, igniting recoveries and reclaiming lost abilities. Not only that, but you will thrive in a region where both excitement and tranquility coexist beautifully.

If you are ready to expand your horizons, make a difference, and immerse yourself in a community that values care — we are eager to welcome you aboard.
