Job Responsibilities
Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
Deliver Therapeutic Services: Employ evidence-based interventions to support enhancement of motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
Educate Patients and Caregivers: Share knowledge of therapy methods to empower patients and families in maintaining progress at home
Track and Document Progress: Monitor outcomes and refine treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients' ongoing success
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are strongly encouraged
Licensure
Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
