Licensed Occupational Therapist - OTR

Transform Lives as a Licensed Occupational Therapist in the Vibrant Port St. Lucie Area

Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist looking to empower individuals as they navigate the path to independence? This is your chance to make a substantial difference in the lives of patients, while immersing yourself in a location rich with opportunities for adventure, relaxation, and flourishing community.

We are looking for a full-time, licensed OTR/L to join our progressive therapy team, which thrives on innovation, collaboration, and meaningful outcomes. Whether you come with years of experience or are just beginning your professional journey, this role offers an incredible opportunity to create impactful therapy in a dynamic setting.

Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and develop tailored treatment strategies aimed at helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Implement Best Practices: Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities.

Collaborative Care Approach: Work with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide comprehensive patient-centered care.

Educate and Empower: Guide patients and their families through therapy techniques, ensuring they feel empowered to continue progress at home.

Track and Adapt: Monitor patient progress and document outcomes rigorously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Encouragement for ongoing education and additional certifications to enhance skills and knowledge.

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.

A deep-rooted passion for patient care and a desire to see individuals achieve their highest level of autonomy.

Strong, compassionate communication skills with both patients and team members.

Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt treatment methods to cater to diverse patient needs.

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a tight-knit, interdisciplinary team.

A nurturing, team-centric work environment with ample opportunities for professional growth.

Flexible full-time schedule with various shift options.

Access to mentorship and resources for career development.

State-of-the-art tools and facilities, as well as advanced documentation systems.

A chance to participate in quality improvement and innovative healthcare initiatives.

In this position, you'll do more than just treat conditions — you'll help restore normalcy, rejuvenate confidence, and bring joy back to ordinary experiences. Whether you're guiding stroke survivors through fine motor tasks or assisting orthopedic patients reclaim mobility post-surgery, each interaction is a chance to deliver personalized, empathetic care that supports resilience and independence.

Your role here is pivotal, as you'll collaborate with doctors, therapists, nurses, and social workers to design rehabilitation strategies that honor the individuality of each patient. Together, you'll craft therapy journeys that respect the essence of who they are, ensuring that every session is a step toward recovery.

This team is unique; we do not merely punch the clock — we uplift one another, exchange insights, and celebrate both minor victories and major achievements side by side. Here, your input is valued, and your professional development is a priority, making your contribution to patient recovery palpable day by day.

And imagine your everyday backdrop: Port St. Lucie, a hub of beauty and adventure that invokes creativity. Gone are the days of endless traffic jams; instead, revel in breezy coastal views, lush golf courses, and serene parks perfect for weekend explorations.

This community is alive with culture—art fairs, live music, and vibrant festivals invite connection, while local eateries serve up everything from fresh seafood to comforting casseroles. In Port St. Lucie, there's a blend of ambition and laid-back atmosphere that invites you to balance work with leisure seamlessly.

We're searching for someone who views occupational therapy as a personal mission, not merely a job. A person who finds excitement in watching a patient reclaim their independence or finally articulate feelings they thought were lost forever.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or a fresh graduate, you'll shine here if you bring dedication and a compassionate approach to your work. If the idea of fusing fulfilling care with a vibrant lifestyle speaks to your soul — this is your haven.

Consider this your invitation to be part of something remarkable. Here, your efforts will influence lives, accelerate healing, and rekindle lost aspirations. This is an opportunity to work in a space that champions a harmonious blend of industriousness and serenity.

If you're ready to flourish in your career while contributing to a community that genuinely cares — your journey starts with us.
