Position Responsibilities:
Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional goals.
Implement Effective Therapies: Apply scientifically supported methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities.
Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy techniques that support their continued progress at home.
Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor patient development, documenting clinical outcomes and adjusting treatments as necessary to keep them on track.
Qualifications:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and well-supported.
Certifications Required:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required.
