Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)Location: Yuma, Colorado (Onsite) Work Type: Contract Positions: 1 Hours: 40 Hours per WeekShift Details• Shift: Day Shift • Schedule: Monday – Friday • Timing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMThe Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) is responsible for assisting in the delivery of physical therapy services across a mixed care setting including outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and home health. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, clinical competency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care• Assist in providing physical therapy treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist • Support rehabilitation programs for patients across multiple care settings • Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapistPatient Care & Treatment• Work with a diverse caseload (60–70% outpatient, 30–40% inpatient/swing bed/home health) • Ensure patient safety and proper therapy techniques • Provide patient education and support during therapy sessionsTeam Collaboration• Work closely with Physical Therapists and healthcare team members • Maintain strong communication with patients and staff • Contribute to a positive team environmentDocumentation & Compliance• Maintain accurate patient records • Utilize electronic systems for documentation • Follow all compliance and regulatory standardsMust-Have Qualifications• Active LPTA License (Required) • BLS / CPR Certification (Required) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Basic computer skills and documentation experiencePreferred Qualifications• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings • Spanish language skills (Plus) • Experience working in rural or mixed-care environmentsCore Competencies• Rehabilitation therapy support • Patient care and communication • Team collaboration • Clinical documentation • Time managementWork Environment• Hospital / Rehabilitation Therapy Setting • Mixed care environment (Outpatient + Inpatient + Home Health) • Onsite role in Yuma, COAdditional Requirements• Must be comfortable with mixed caseload settings • Must maintain all required certifications • Must be flexible and adaptable to different care environments
