Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support high-quality rehabilitation care at our Vero Beach, FL hospital. In this role, you’ll implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, focusing on patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex illnesses. Responsibilities include therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, patient and family education, accurate documentation, and equipment management. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-centered, and team-oriented environment that supports learning and career growth.
