Licensed PlumberWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to perform a wide variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties in the Baltimore area. This part-time role offers flexible hours and is ideal for a licensed plumber looking to supplement their existing workload or take on project-based work.The plumber will respond to routine service requests, emergency repairs, and planned upgrades—working independently or in collaboration with property maintenance and renovation teams.Scheduled duties and responsibilities include:Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters)Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, low pressure, and other plumbing issuesReplace or repair damaged piping, valves, or connectionsPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systemsEnsure work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standardsMaintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and hours workedProvide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in residential and commercial environmentsUnscheduled duties and responsibilities include:Assist supervisor with work related requests.Responsible for following regulations of COMAR, CARF, any other regulatory body, and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well.Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested.Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment.Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor.Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery.Physical demands include regularly walking, standing or stooping; occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and regularly driving a motor vehicle.Working conditions include:Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Exposure to potentially hazardous materials, heights, and tight spaces.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain situations.Competency and skills include:Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Level of education/training/qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbingStrong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materialsReliable transportation and own toolsAbility to work independently and troubleshoot efficientlyMust carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (if 1099)Experience in multi-unit housing, affordable housing, or supportive housing settingsAbility to assess and quote materials/labor for small projectsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.Required certification/license:Gas line or backflow certification a plusValid driver's license and reliable transportation.Valid Maryland journeyman or master plumber license
