As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager , you will play a key leadership role on our clinical team - overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Your leadership will help create a positive, collaborative environment where both residents and team members feel supported.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Schedule & Benefits
Schedule: Full-time, including weekends as needed and on-call rotation

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Qualifications
Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
Prior experience managing staff is preferred
Computer knowledge and experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Responsibilities
Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times throughout the shift
Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members
Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
