Position Overview

Privia Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional mental health support and guidance to clients, fostering their personal growth and emotional well-being. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

About the Organization

At Privia Psychotherapy, we strive to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in Erie, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding regions. We understand that a significant portion of the population may lack access to necessary mental health services. We are committed to addressing this need by offering a variety of therapeutic services tailored to the unique requirements of our clients. Our mission is to make quality mental health care accessible, delivering compassionate and professional services to those in need.

Work Environment

This position operates in an outpatient office setting with a fully remote work option, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that caters to the needs of both our counselors and clients. As part of a collaborative team of mental health professionals, you will have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic and supportive environment that values continuous development and open communication.

Key Responsibilities

Develop individualized therapy plans to address the unique needs of clients, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment strategies.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and responsiveness to client inquiries.

Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care through interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.

Engage in continuous professional development opportunities such as workshops and training to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with diverse clients across various demographics, including individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. A focus on accessibility ensures that we reach clients who may otherwise face barriers to mental health support. Your role is integral in creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive life changes.

Qualifications

A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.

Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.

Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines related to mental health practice.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.

Demonstrated clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and proficiency in utilizing relevant technologies to enhance client documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

Previous work specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

Experience in community mental health settings or with underrepresented populations is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, depending on your experience and caseload availability. We also provide comprehensive benefits, including dental, vision, and health insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, and numerous client referrals. Our administrative team will assist with billing and documentation, reducing your workload and allowing you to focus on direct client care.

Career Growth Opportunities

As a member of the Privia Psychotherapy team, you will have ample opportunities for professional development and career advancement. We encourage our counselors to pursue advanced training and specialization in areas of interest, allowing for both personal growth and enhanced service delivery to our clients.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Privia Psychotherapy means becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Our commitment to innovative and ethical practice allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve while enjoying the flexibility and support that a remote work environment provides.
