Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Maintain meticulous, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client confidentiality is upheld.
Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care, contributing to case discussions and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your knowledge of the latest advancements in mental health treatment methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic serves a wide array of clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse challenges. The LPC will be instrumental in delivering tailored therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a client-centered approach that respects and values the diversity of our patients.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, with a proven track record in a therapeutic setting.
Preferred Experience
Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various client demographics, establishing trust and rapport in diverse settings.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software and relevant technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
