We employ a solution-focused therapeutic approach that not only respects the unique journeys of our clients but also empowers them to thrive. Together, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel valued and understood.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing our counselors to conduct sessions from the comfort of their home offices while maintaining connection with clients in an outpatient office setting. Counselors work by appointment with clients, providing the flexibility needed to accommodate diverse schedules and personal commitments. Our practice leverages telehealth technology to facilitate sessions, ensuring that distance does not hinder the quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans for clients.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a range of mental health challenges.

Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, all tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure ongoing holistic treatment.

Maintain precise and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations within the counseling framework.

Remain updated on the latest research and emerging trends in mental health by attending workshops and engaging in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, seeking support for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and behavioral concerns. Given the outpatient nature of our practice, counselors are often managing a caseload that allows for meaningful therapeutic relationships to develop, reflecting our commitment to client-centered care.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

A minimum of 2 years' experience providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting.

Strong foundation in ethical guidelines and regulatory frameworks governing the practice of counseling.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and long-term therapeutic relationships with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

A demonstrated capacity for teamwork and collaboration, working effectively alongside other mental health professionals.

Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software necessary for managing client records.

Preferred Experience

Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.

Experience in delivering remote counseling services using telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.

Health, dental, and vision insurance plans to ensure comprehensive wellness coverage.

Malpractice insurance coverage to support your practice and provide peace of mind.

Unlimited client referrals that enhance your caseload and career potential.
