This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments by meeting with clients to determine their mental health status and identify specific needs.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Conduct regular counseling sessions, providing clients with practical tools and resources to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and make referrals when necessary.
Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines.
Engage in crisis intervention as needed, employing strong assessment skills and remaining calm in challenging situations.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions while being responsive to cultural and personal dynamics.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with various mental health issues, ranging from mild anxiety and depression to severe substance use disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Bliss, you will create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel valued and understood. Your culturally responsive methodology will further enhance the therapeutic experience and outcomes for all individuals.
Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
A minimum of four years of practical experience within the mental health field, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders.
Experience in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy sessions.
Well-developed crisis intervention skills, able to effectively manage high-stress situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
Proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with necessary computer applications.
Preferred Experience
Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competence in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
