Position Overview
Peace of Mind Counseling Services is excited to invite applications for a full-time Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor. This position offers the flexibility of telehealth, allowing you to provide support and therapeutic services to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a pivotal role in assessing patients' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans to help them overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health status, identifying underlying issues and strengths.
Create customized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and tailored to the individual needs of each client.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions remotely, employing culturally responsive techniques to engage diverse populations.
Regularly monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment methods as necessary, ensuring effective care and positive outcomes.
Provide referrals to additional healthcare professionals when appropriate, including psychiatrists for medication management.
Document sessions accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on client care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will be instrumental in creating a safe virtual space where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work towards their personal goals for mental wellness.
Qualifications
A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health counseling.
Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.
Proficiency in delivering therapeutic interventions through both individual and group formats.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
Experience with telehealth systems and remote service delivery.
Background in crisis intervention and management techniques, particularly in virtual settings.
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseload efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
