Job description

Turn precision into hope as a Licensed Radiation Therapist with a respected cancer care organization bringing exceptional oncology services to the vibrant island community of Key West, Florida!

This Radiation Oncology Therapist will join a mission-driven, patient-first healthcare organization known for compassionate care, clinical excellence, safety, and strong community trust. Advanced treatment capabilities, evidence-based practices, modern technology, and close interdisciplinary collaboration create an engaging environment for professional growth. The Radiation Therapist will benefit from supportive leadership, streamlined outpatient workflows, continuing education opportunities, and meaningful involvement in helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes close to home.

Within the Oncology unit, the Licensed Radiation Therapist will help deliver expert, local treatment to the Lower Keys, sparing patients long drives to mainland Florida for routine chemotherapy, advanced radiation, and multidisciplinary support . This Cancer Care program combines precise radiation therapy with coordinated medical oncology, patient education, symptom management, and compassionate support, allowing the Radiation Oncology Therapist to build lasting relationships while serving an essential role in the local community.

Reporting to experienced cancer services leadership, the Radiation Therapist will support treatment planning, simulation, accurate radiation delivery, equipment and patient safety checks, clinical documentation, and ongoing assessment throughout each course of therapy. The Licensed Radiation Therapist will work alongside radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, friendly nurses, imaging professionals, and a diverse healthcare professional team that values communication, mutual respect, accountability, and individualized patient care.

Living in Key West gives the Radiation Oncology Therapist access to year-round sunshine, turquoise water, boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, cycling, and unforgettable sunsets. The area offers colorful historic architecture, walkable neighborhoods, fresh seafood, Caribbean-inspired cuisine, live music, galleries, festivals, and an inclusive island community with a relaxed lifestyle. A Licensed Radiation Therapist can enjoy short local commutes, nearby beaches and parks, convenient air connections, pet-friendly recreation, lively nightlife, and quick access to the natural beauty of the Florida Keys while building a rewarding healthcare career in a distinctive coastal economy.

This Licensed Radiation Therapist opportunity offers competitive compensation and a full suite of health and retirement benefits designed to support long-term personal and professional wellbeing.
