Licensed School Based Counselor, Montgomery County

Licensed School-Based Counselor needed for full-time, temporary position in Montgomery County. The School-Based Counselor/Social Worker provides counseling, mental health, case management, and trauma-informed services to students with significant and complex needs. Responsibilities include individual, group, and family counseling; case management; crisis and behavioral support; participation in IEP evaluations and meetings; and connecting students and families with appropriate community resources. The position works closely with students, families, teachers, school administrators, and community providers to address social-emotional, behavioral, and educational needs. The role also provides consultation and support to school staff regarding student behavior and trauma-informed practices.
PA LSW or LCSW - Strong communication, clinical, organizational, and teamwork skills required. School settings. Some home-based services may be required.
