Director of Social Services
Job Summary:
AdviniaCare Salem, a compassionate and respectful senior lifestyle and care provider, is seeking a dedicated and caring Licensed Social Worker, LSW, LCSW, or LICSW to join our amazing team as a Director of Social Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive holistic, person-centered care. If you are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others and thrive in a fast-paced, caring environment, we want to meet you!
What You'll Do:
Be a key player in ensuring our residents receive holistic, person-centered care
Lead efforts to address the psychological, social, and physical needs of residents and their loved ones
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to create a true community of care
Complete social assessments and gather important information at admission
Maintain ongoing communication and support with residents' families
Assist our Admissions Coordinator by giving thoughtful, welcoming tours to prospective residents and families
Complete pre-admission assessments to help residents transition smoothly into our facility
What You Bring:
A degree from an accredited school of social work
Licensure in the state of practice (LSW, LCSW, or LICSW required)
2+ years of experience in long-term care preferred
A heart for seniors and a passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and compassionate care
