Job description

Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) - $75-$95/Session, Remote

Remote US Nationwide

Earn up to $95 per session helping Californians thrive!

Overview

Join our mission to make quality mental healthcare accessible to every person who needs it. At Daybreak Health, you'll be part of a movement dedicated to removing barriers to care and empowering young people to thrive emotionally and mentally.

We partner with over 60 school districts and dozens of health plans- including Kaiser Permanente-reaching more than one million young people nationwide. Our clinicians enjoy the stability of consistent referrals and a meaningful caseload, allowing you to focus on what matters most: making a real difference in clients' lives.

We're seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to adolescents and adults ages 11-60 throughout California (you can even choose your age range). In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to help our clients thrive. Every session you lead has the power to change a person's trajectory—and that's just the beginning of the impact you'll make.

Please note: This role is open to therapists who are fully licensed in California only; associate and provisionally licensed therapists are not eligible.

Our new tiered pay structure rewards clinicians who want to grow their caseload, with no cap on your earnings:

$75-$90 per session, based on weekly caseload volume

Paid intake assessments

Paid no-shows and late cancellations

$5 Bilingual session differential available for every session

$340 paid onboarding training stipend

Free continuing education credits year-round and a dedicated intake assistant who supports with all initial scheduling and consent forms

Biweekly pay - Daybreak handles all billing

Flexible caseload: Start with just 5 sessions per week, see as many clients as you'd like. The more clients you see, the more you earn. A clinician seeing 20+ sessions per week can build a meaningful income stream without the administrative burden of running a private practice.

Flexibility & Clinical Support

Fully Remote: Work from anywhere in the U.S.

Flexible Schedule: Choose to work within any time block from Monday-Sunday, 8am-8 PM PST (weekends optional)

Administrative Support: We handle billing, credentialing, scheduling, and sending out consent forms so you can focus on care

Supportive Clinical Community: Peer consultation, collaborative networks, and team discussions

Professional Development: Continuing education credits and ongoing training

Role & Responsibilities

Foster strong, supportive relationships with our clients to create a safe therapeutic environment

Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to adolescents and adults ages 11-60 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions

Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers

Qualifications

Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California

Passion for mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care that honors diverse backgrounds and experiences

Experience working with youth and adults ages 11-60 in clinical or school settings

Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services

Please note: This role is open to fully licensed California clinicians only; associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
