Role Overview
Apply life sciences expertise and hands-on Python skills to help evaluate and improve advanced AI systems. You will develop, solve, and review rigorous research problems in biology and related scientific fields.
Key Responsibilities
Create and solve technically rigorous scientific problems within your specialty.
Build reproducible Python analyses, models, simulations, and data-processing workflows.
Analyze scientific data, validate computational results, and identify errors in scientific reasoning or code.
Review scientific solutions and code for correctness, clarity, and completeness.
Qualifications
Strong Python skills for scientific computing, data analysis, modeling, or simulation.
Expertise in one or more relevant areas, including medicine, biomedical science, computational biology, neuroscience, molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, genetics, genomics, ecology, evolutionary biology, biostatistics, biological data science, materials, or astronomy.
PhD, MD, or a master''s degree with substantial research experience in a relevant life sciences discipline.
A research background demonstrated through publications, thesis work, computational projects, industry research, or comparable accomplishments.
Familiarity with tools such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, Jupyter, or relevant domain-specific libraries.
Work Terms
Global, fully remote independent contractor engagement.
Approximately 15 hours per week.
Flexible schedule, with freedom to choose working days and hours, including weekends if preferred.
Compensation
$60 to $120 per hour.
Payment is output-based and issued per task that meets project specifications. Time required per task varies by experience and workflow, and minimum submission requirements apply.
