We also offer a work-life balance and integration program, Balanced Dukes, that is designed to support the overall wellbeing of our employees and a Tuition Waiver Program that allows employees to have tuition waived for undergraduate and graduate level courses taken at JMU.General Information:To provide lifeguard supervision for the swim sections of KIN 100 to ensure the safety of participating students.Duties and Responsibilities:Lifeguards will supervise the swimmers in the pool area and carry out emergency response procedures for swimmers in need. The lifeguard will report any issues or concerns to the class instructor. Lifeguard will be prepared for each class and report on time. It is the lifeguard's responsibility to undertake regular training as required for certification.Qualifications:Must be a certified lifeguard and able to provide documentation of such.Additional Posting Information:Seeking coverage for 3 M/W classes: 10:20am-11:10am, 11:30am-12:20pm and 12:40pm-1:30pm *Potential to hire multiple people in order to cover all classes*Conditions of Employment:Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate). Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
