Lifeguard - Milford High School NatatoriumWork schedule as needed. Pay rate is $20 per hour. Maintain current lifeguard and CPR certifications and ensure Aquatics Supervisor is provided a copy of current certifications (front/back). Job Description is attached. Questions can be directed to Megan Stillwell at or Christy Gregory, Associate Principal of Student Activities, at The Milford Exempted Village School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.QualificationsMaintain current lifeguard and CPR certifications and ensure Aquatics Supervisor is provided a copy of current certifications (front/back).Major FunctionGuard the safety of each user of the natatorium.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor and direct activity in the pool as well as the entire facility at all times. Enforce rules in a consistent, fair, and professional manner.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the pools, decks, seating, and areas.Assist in the operation and maintenance of all pool equipment as needed.Report to your scheduled shift at least 15 minutes before having to be in the chair.Immediately report any identified equipment or safety issues to the Aquatics Director.Report any medical emergencies to the Aquatics Director once medical personnel have taken control of any situations.Notify the Aquatics Director immediately if you are unable to fulfill a scheduled lifeguarding assignment.Accurately and appropriately use time clock systems to record time worked at both the beginning and end of shifts.
