Our Lifeguards can expect to receive the necessary tools to be successful in keeping the kids and members who use our pool safe. Lifeguards must be able to provide the best customer service to our Swim School families/members and be able to communicate effectively with parents, care givers, colleagues, and managers. Our Lifeguards must be caring, patient and outside the box thinkers in order to maintain the utmost safe and danger free environment within our aquatic's facility.Responsibilities:Effectively maintain the safety of our swim families and membersEnsure that all proper protocols and safety rules are being followedCheck our water chemicals and ensure that the water is safe to swim inCheck our aquatics facility at opening and closingProvide the most professional customer service to our swimmers and familiesFill out and complete any incident reportsProvide first aid to any injured member or guestsSupervise and manage a group of kids and ensure their safety in the waterComplete In service trainings which require a swim and EAP protocolQualificationsExecute proper surveillance and rescue techniques when neededProvides emergency care and treatment as required or until the arrival of emergency medical servicesPresent professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer serviceARC LG & CPR Certification (other certifications accepted as well)Be able to spend multiple hours on your feetBe courteous and professional to all families, members and staffMust enjoy working with kids and be extremely patient and understandingBe able to communicate effectively and professionally with parents
