Lifeguard PositionWalton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is hiring part-time Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our client site located in Bentonville, AR!Work in a cool, modern facility, stay active, build leadership skills, and help keep the pool safe—all while earning extra cash. Perfect for students or a great first job.Up to 19 hours per weekAs a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.Key AccountabilitiesMonitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.Enforce and explain rules as necessary.Respond appropriately to any emergency.Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.Attend all required staff meetings and training.Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.Maintain a professional attitude.Other duties as needed/assigned.Minimum RequirementsMust be at least 16 years old.American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.Compensation: $14 - $18.50/ hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
