Job description
Pool SupervisorSummary: Monitor and supervise the pool facilities, enforcing policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and enforce pool rules and policiesKeep facility clean and organizedKnow facility's emergency action plan, and how to engage itPerform lifesaving duties when neededAnswer member questions and follow up on requestsAssist with the opening and closing the pool as neededAct as a resource and service person for participantsAssist in examining facility for safety hazardsAid participants with injuries by providing First Aid and CPR, and document all injuries and/or issues properlyAttend all scheduled meetingsMaintain a good level of physical fitnessPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):Currently certified as a lifeguard with a Nationally Recognized association and currently CPR, First Aid and AED certifiedMust be able to pass a swim test and have a good level of physical fitnessMust possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as quality people skillsPossess good leadership skillsExcellent customer service skillsThis position is not eligible for benefits.
