At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:As a Lifeguard at Signature, you'll help create a safe, relaxing, and memorable poolside experience at one of the Strip's most desired resort destinations. With your welcoming smile and attentive service, you'll ensure guest safety while setting the tone for exceptional hospitality. By taking ownership of the guest experience and responding with professionalism and care, you'll help create WOW moments and lasting memories that extend far beyond each stay.THE STARTING RATE: $15.00 hourlyTHE DAY-TO-DAY:Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situationsAdhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the propertyReport all guest and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentationDirect guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and proceduresProactively greet and interact with guests, assist all guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needsRespond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficultiesResponsible for daily pool set-up and breakdown, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experienceTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Must be 16 years old or olderMust have the ability to swim to complete Lifeguard certification if hiredTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Free meals in our employee dining roomFree parking on and off shiftHealth & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and moreProfessional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the communityAre you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
