DACwatch Summer LifeguardDAC Fitness has a passion for providing a beautiful facility, great customer service, and an environment that focuses on what's most important, the PEOPLE! This is way more than a job! We might not be Baywatch, but we are DACwatch, and we can provide you a savage tan while getting paid! We are looking for you to join our DACwatch team and watch over our water babies this summer!For Maximum Success, You Should:Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR, if necessary.Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assists with chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests and records of accidents, and adds chemicals to pool water as directed.Be able to Smile.Be a multi-tasker, a self starter, and a social enthusiast.Have great communication skills.Be health and fitness minded.A team player.Essential Physical Requirements:Must be at least 16 years old.Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety conscious.Sitting/standing for prolonged periods of time.The ability to communicate well in person and on the phone.Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or equivalentAmerican Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalentAmerican Red Cross Standard First Aid, or equivalentWhat Can We Do For You?We will turn you into a hospitality Superstar.
