Job description
LifeguardProvide students with a safe and efficient swimming program and assist with all swim programs.1. Assist in the operation of the Natatorium facility in a safe and efficient manner.2. Follow through with functions of a lifeguard.3. Protect the school students and the public from injury.4. Have good public relations with patrons of the School District.5. Do maintenance work as needed- if unable to do work, contact pool manager.6. Do assigned janitorial tasks when necessary.Minimum Education/Certification: Must have Life Saving Certification Special Knowledge/Skills: Appropriate knowledge in first aid and life saving techniques Be physically fit Be able to assist in some in some instructional programsExperience as a lifeguard is preferred
