LifeguardJoin our team as a day shift, PRN, Lifeguard in Tyler, TX.Why Join Us?Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare BetterThrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being.People-First: We prioritize your well-being with a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for.Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Get to Know Your Team:UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available.ResponsibilitiesWelcomes all users with a warm and sincere greeting when they enter the aquatics areaAssists the aquatics manager in monitoring the pool environment to ensure that all local health codes are metConstantly monitors user activity within the aquatics area to ensure their safetyUpholds facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and pleasing environment for all usersFacilitates appropriate member activities including lap swim, proper lane usage and spa usageMaintains the facility and equipment including fitness equipment, surfaces, lane ropes and pump room equipmentTests and appropriately adjusts all pool water chemistryAttends all regularly scheduled staff meetings and participates in required trainingQualificationsJob Requirements:American Red Cross Lifeguard Training or the equivalent certification.American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or the equivalent certification.Preferred Job Requirements:High school diploma preferred12 months experience as an American Red Cross Lifeguard or equivalent preferredMay be required to obtain and maintain Certified Pool Operator license
