LifeguardPosition: Lifeguard Department: PoolPrimary Responsibilities:Ensure guests' safety and protect livesEnforce rules and regulationsRecognize and respond effectively when situations ariseAdminister first aid and CPR when necessarySecondary Responsibilities:Check, record and regulate chlorine/ph and water temperatureClean drains around poolClean and fill baby poolCheck safety equipment to assure it is readily available at all timesSkim pool as necessaryFill out reports when necessaryNormal Working Hours:Flexible shifts including some evenings9am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 6pm-11pmIn order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the 5 Star Mobil Service StandardsPast Work Experience Requirements:Life guarding experience preferredCustomer service experience preferredEducational Requirements:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Some college preferredCommunication Skills Requirements:Excellent grammar and verbal skillsMust be able to be assertiveTechnical Requirements:Current Red Cross Life guarding Certificate or equivalentCPR/First Aid Certificate RequiredSupervision:Supervision provided. Reports to Pool ManagerMust possess the maturity to respond to situations as they arriveOther Requirements:Must be friendly, outgoing, self assured and have a positive attitude
