Description
Responsible for the safety/supervision of the public, and members of the City's swimming pools at the Kinston Community Center.
Essential Functions
Monitor pool area to ensure safety of all participants.
Perform rescue operations as needed.
Ensure pools and pool areas are clean and usuable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Minimum Qualifications Must possess current Lifeguard certification.
Must possess current CPR for the Professional Rescurer certification.
Must meet minimum age requirement of 15 years old.
Must adhere to all Parks and Recreation standards.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays and have a flexible schedule.
Temporary Seasonal employees work 1000 or less each year.
