Job Title Lift Truck Battery Changer - 1st Shift
Position Overview
Join the team at Shaw Industries! We're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals to help maintain lift truck batteries and keep our operation running smoothly.
This position is located and works out of Cypress, CA.
$22.33 Per Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6am - 2:30 pm
What You'll Do
Change batteries on lift trucks throughout the shift
Monitor water levels and perform routine battery maintenance
Operate battery-changing equipment safely and efficiently
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on charging equipment
Enter battery change information into the computer system
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Support warehouse and maintenance teams as needed
Follow all attendance, safety, and operational requirements
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to safety and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for data entry
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workplace
Physical Requirements
Stand, sit, and work on a lift truck throughout the shift
Frequently mount and dismount equipment
Guide and handle lift truck batteries during battery changes
Lift up to 50 pounds frequently during the shift
Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
