Transdev in The City of Victoria, TX, is seeking an experienced Light Duty Technician to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Light Duty Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our diesel-powered assets.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs
Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
2 yearsofexperience asa Light Duty Technician.
ASEcertificationsrequired;ASEcertificationprogramprovided.
Mechanic'sToolSet
Mustbe able toworkshifts orflexible workschedulesasneeded.
SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysical,ifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
