\ NSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:50 a.M.-5:00 p.M.;
Saturday, 7:50 a.M.-4:00 p.M. on rotation, with Sunday and one rotating weekday off
Pay Rate: $25-$45 per flagged hour
Pay Type: Flat rate
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Earning Potential: $70,000-$110,000 annually
Typical Flagged Hours: 45+ per week;
minimum 30-hour weekly guarantee

\ NPromotive is recruiting for a Light & Medium Duty Diesel Technician opportunity in Schaumburg, Illinois. This position offers flat-rate pay of $25-$45 per flagged hour, with expected annual earnings of $70,000-$110,000 and a minimum 30-hour weekly guarantee. The expected workload is approximately 30% diagnostics and 70% maintenance, with shop-provided scan tools and a flat team structure.
\ NKey Responsibilities
\ N Diagnose and repair light- and medium-duty diesel, domestic, and fleet vehicles.
\ N Perform a workload expected to consist of approximately 30% diagnostics and 70% maintenance.
\ N Complete intermediate to advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics using shop-provided scan tools.
\ N Perform general repairs, maintenance, inspections, and removal and replacement (R&R) work.
\ N Service brakes and suspension components, including kingpins.
\ N Perform tire inspections, rotations, balancing, and other tire-related services.
\ N Perform wheel alignments and related steering and suspension work.
\ N Diagnose and repair components such as box lights and lift gates.
\ N Qualifications
\ N 1-2 years of relevant automotive, diesel, fleet, or related technician experience.
\ N Intermediate to advanced diagnostic skills, including drivability and electrical diagnostics.
\ N Experience working withdomestic, diesel, fleet, and light- to medium-duty vehicles.
\ N Experience with Isuzu, Peterbilt, Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet, Freightliner, or Hino vehicles is preferred.
\ N Experience with maintenance, brakes, suspension, tires, alignments, and general repairs.
\ N Must provide personal technician tools;
scan tools are suppliedby the shop.
\ N ASE certifications, state inspection licensing, and DVI experience are not required.
\ N Compensation & Benefits
\ N $25-$45 per flagged hour, flat rate.
\ N Expected annual earnings of $70,000-$110,000;
actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
\ N Minimum 30-hour weekly guarantee.
