Job description
Job TitleResponsible for assisting the molding team and performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.Essential RolesSupport shift lead and area supervisor.Requires flexibility to learn new positions anywhere in the company as needed.Use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment.Perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test liquid management products.Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Assembly Lead.Be ready and able to learn new builds and procedures.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.Ability to use basic ABAS time capture functions.Other duties as assigned.CompetenciesAdaptability - Adapts to changes open to new ideas and responsibilities and creative solutions.Conflict Management - Good listener, committed to finding solutions to problems, works well with difficult people.Communication - Communicates well, delivers presentations, and has good listening skills.Customer Service - Works well with internal and external customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.Ethics - Honest, accountable, maintains confidentiality.Organization Skills - Maintains information in an organized manner and accessible, maintains efficient workspace, manages time well.Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.Results Driven - Defines appropriate goals, works toward achieving goals, articulates vision and steps for achievement.Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of every job.Work EnvironmentThe employee is frequently exposed to heat, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires standing for extended periods of time, and walking, and bending. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and comprehend procedures written in English, bilingual preferred.Experience with manufacturing plastics, injection molding or blow molding preferred, but not required.
