Job description
Join the culinary team at Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area as a Line Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your cooking skills and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for our guests inSomerville, MA.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to Holiday Inn standards and recipes.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a line cook preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen safety protocols.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
