This facility produces hot dogs, cocktails, and sliced meats.Benefits Effective Day 1!The starting pay for this position is $23.05/hour plus $.80 shift differential for 2nd shift.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must be able to read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, labels, etc.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbsThe Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areasThe Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floorsThe Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areasThe Team Member will work in a cold, damp environmentThe Team Member will work on slippery walking surfacesRequirements:6+ months of Lead experience required6+ months of machine operator experience requiredCandidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
