Our two businesses, Menasha Packaging and ORBIS Corporation, are leaders in their industries, providing corrugated and plastic packaging products and related services to major global companies.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe Line Lead oversees production line personnel by providing direction and leadership to employees in the most effective and efficient manner.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for effectively ensuring company procedures and policies are being followedDemonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned by Supervisors/ManagersResponsible for training line workers in all aspects of production line workMaintain a professional demeanor and performance in leadership of staffWork in conjunction with other departments for positive production resultsMay work as a Quality Auditor and perform continuous inspection of product every hour or more frequently, depending on if the job is complex or critical in its design or useKeep abreast of the rates of the jobs running on the production linePerform all Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions as they pertain to this jobUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsResponsible for reconciliation to ensure accuracy of job ensuring all paperwork is turned in a timely mannerEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentThree to six months related experience or training in warehouse productionKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSafety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesUnderstanding of quality standards, methods and reporting as requiredAbility to plan in advance for production in assignedAbility to interpret instructions (both verbal and written)Ability to produce and meet expectations at a high level through your staffAbility to work with plant management for required resultsAbility to understand all aspects of the WMS systemAbility to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this jobPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse settingWalking, standing, bending for duration of shiftFrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.The expected salary range for this position is $18.00 -$18.50/hour.
