Our recruiters look forward to speaking with you about your background, skills, and compensation requirements.Job Title:The Line LeadJob Description:The Line Lead will be responsible for overseeing the line of production and coordinate and oversee the daily activities of warehouse personnel under the direction of the Operations Manager / Supervisor in order to profitably meet the customer needs while ensuring that corporate values and objectives. This leadership role will be responsible for delegating functions to warehouse associates as necessary to meet the needs of the customer. Following company and site-specific safety policies, and encouraging other associates to do the same, is of great importance to this position.Responsibilities:Directly supervises temporary employees in productionCarries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable proceduresEnforce company's rules and regulationsAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and maintains harmony among workers.Issues written and oral instructionsMaintains time and production recordsWorks with supervisors to coordinate flow of materials or products.Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance personnelAdvises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, packed and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problemsProcess off-specification material as directedEffectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customersInform production Supervisor and QA Supervisor of issues found during kittingVerifies corrective action is taken to resolve defectsOther duties as assignedKnowledge:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Capable of basic math calculationsAble to read and interpret specifications and drawingsGeneral knowledge of computersSkills:Good analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood oral and written communication skillsAble to handle large volumes of workAbility to work independently, requiring little supervisory directionCommunicates in a constructive and consistent mannerAbilities:Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shiftAble to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shiftSelf-motivatedMaintains neat/organized work area and documentationSaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer, as required by law.
