Add extra money to your paycheck by referring friends and family.Available ShiftRotating from 1st to 2ndRotates every eight weeks12 hours07:00 AM -07:00 PM07:00 PM-07:00 AM2/2/3Position OverviewThe Line Lead role provides a structured cadence for relieving Dry End Operators for breaks and performing all job duties at the Hot Press, Float Line, Printer, and Wrapper.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollows all documented safety, quality, and production procedures.Collects and submits all completed orders to the Production Supervisor.Inputs end-of-line data into the appropriate system.Provides leadership during downtime per Production Supervisor guidance.Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.Assists the Assistant Supervisors and Production Supervisors during transition at shift change.Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.Fills in as a back-up for the Assistant Supervisor position as needed.Follows established break guidelines.Maintains an excellent safety record.Maintains an excellent attendance record.Performs other duties as assigned.ExperienceAt least one (1) year of experience in the Dry End of the Macon Facility. Certified to operate float-line, hot-press, and printer.At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.SkillsAn individual must have the following skills in the Line Lead position:Ability to work safely and to communicate with others professionally.Demonstrated ability sufficient to determine product quality, for example, carton malformations, color verification, and structural integrity.Demonstrated hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for product handling.Strong leadership potential and/or some leadership experience.Physical requirementsThis position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include, but are not limited to:Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)Working conditionsAn individual who works in the Line Lead position:Must be physically able to perform the essential job duties.Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.Works overtime as required.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED
